The Role

We're seeking a creative and versatile Freelance Video Editor to work directly with our Content Manager on a contract basis. This is a fully remote position that offers flexible hours and the opportunity to create compelling content for startup and VC audiences.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and produce diverse video content from raw footage and existing materials (content strategy and scripting handled by our team)
• Create engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media
• Source relevant footage, B-roll, and clips for research-based and business topic videos
• Collaborate closely with our Content Manager to bring creative visions to life
• Execute video editing based on provided briefs and creative direction
• Manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times
• Experiment with new video styles and AI-powered editing tools

Project Types You'll Work On:

• Event recaps - Capturing the energy and key moments from our events
• Research explainer videos - Making complex business topics accessible and engaging
• Founder tip videos - Educational content to support entrepreneurs
• Investment memo content - Video content highlighting our portfolio companies
• Social media content - Short-form videos optimized for various platforms
